my 97 tib auto trans just went out
currently has a 1.8
where is info on using 2.o trans
i have seen lots on swaping to standard
but just gonna keep it auto
having trouble finding 1.8 trans

Same block, so the transmission is the same bolt pattern and all. Just get a flywheel and clutch from a 2.0l too. There's a diy on here somewhere on converting from an auto to manual, so search it and you should find enough info to get you through it.
