When pulling an engine with an Auto tranny, would you suggest leaving the transmisson hooked up too the engine and pulling the whole engine and tranny together OR! removing the engine and unbolting the tranny in 2 pieces? Pics too follow!

I personally would say that it would be easier just to drop the tranny and pull the motor, but thats just my opinion, so im sure you will have more responses sometime later, but thats what i would do

I would imagine it would easier to remove them together.

There are fewer bolts to undo and wires to disconnect, by a lot, if you leave the engine in place.

definitely dpends on how much you are doing. when i do my tranny swap (after abqbbq), I will be installing new timing belt, airram with bbtb, manual tranny, koyo rad, fal fans, catch cans, different ps can, different coolant overflow can, oil cooler kit, full poly bushing kit and plus painting the engine bay with herculiner. so, it will definitely be easier to me to take everything out and start with a hole, plus my back will love me more in the end. fing02.gif
