Default tranny dropped

tranny just dropped.... its an automatic... im considering just puttin in a manual... what do you think?

By dropped I guess you mean crapped out? From what other people say the swap isnt too difficult. Time consuming but not hard. If you look under the DIY section someone did a write up on how to do this I believe.

if you have all the parts, I do not imagine it would be all that more difficult than putting a new auto tranny in. Just more time consuming as you need to install everything for the clutch and the manual shifter. You will also need a flywheel from a manual car as well.

I would not install used axles either. While everything is apart it is a good time to have either new CV joints installed OR put in rebuilt axles with new CV joints.. better than having to replace them down the road.

haha! so you know! absolutely insane in some spots.

i absolutely love that place though. i'd move there if the cost of living wasn't a necessary celebrity status and then some.
