Default total cost of mods

aite i'm willing to spend at about 10000 bucks on my car. However, that including all exterior and interior mods, such as custom seats and stuff. However if i'm over by like 5000 it's ok. I need a complete list of mods (be specific) and their costs for the i4 and the v6. i know the i4 is probably gonna be my best bet, but i need to know how much money i need to spend to top out the hp. thanks (o btw...i'm probably not going to do this myself, so add in the mechanix fees)

For 10-15 grand on upgrades go with the inline 4.

Get the Ballistic Racing Stage 2 turbo kit. (You can buy it from Kore Motorsports)
I think its 4 Grand. You then need injectors, exhaust and installation. budget about 6 grand.

CAI, from SR, its coming out soon.
SR headers - 4-2-1 for low end torque or 4-1 for high end HP
Big Bore Throttle Body, from SR. Plus you would want a matched IM.
check www.sharkracing.com for prices

With all this power you are gonna need a new clutch and axles. KORE sells clutches and drag axles.

For looks: Veilside body kit: www.veilsideusa.com
Its damn sweet. around 4 grand

Ask Josh (200lo&showtibby) for an airbag suspension. somewhere around 2 grand. It allows you to lower and raise your car, so you don't trash your kit.

Then general looks things, decals. Stereo system. Neons or other stuff you want to do.

If he goes turbo, he doesn't need those headers.

Yeah for 15 grand you can do damn near anything you please.

There are millions of permutations possible for mods, you need to come up with a plan for your vehicle.

Do you want it to be a drag racer? Rally racer? Is it going to remain a daily driver?

You can have a 10,000 dollar body kit made & painted. Or, you might be able to do an AWD conversion in your budget.

Problem is that for so many things, there are no set costs--even with a more specific plan we can give you ballpark numbers but the details of how you intend to go about doing makes a huge difference.

Yeah he will.. For the massive amount of exhaust he's gonna need to get rid of.. He's also gonna need an exhaust that's about 2.5 instead of 2.25.. Oh and get you a nice ZEX nitrous kit while your at it.. New Cam's would be a good idea too.. While your tossin money around.. Go head get you a TV and DVD player inside.. Maybe A PS2 if you or ya boys can't live wit out video games..

haha type r...well...10000 isn't too bad if u think how much the i4 costs...(btw...this is the 2003 car, so no veilside, although the 2001 veilside tibby is sweet)...let's say the car itself is about 17000...10000 won't be spent in like a week...it'll be spread out...plus i'm a pharmacist...i deal drugs...haha..jkjk..

my plan was 1. do body kit, decals, wing, etc. 2. do engine, like a stage two turbo with the necessary stuff 3. do interior work, like custom seats painted interior, etc. 4. do stereo...by step 3, i want to be able to send the car to shows...and afford a 3 grand+ car (please don't yell at me for dat...i really like the rx8)
