Default Throttle Body Spacer

hi...is Throttle Body Spacer a good cheap mod, or is useless? Is it just empty PR talk about gaining HP? for example OBX or Helix Throttle Body Spacers...

They work well on Throttle Body Injection engines but they are basically electronically controlled carburetors and don't share much with any of our TB's IMO. Unless there's independent dyno proof I wouldn't believe it.

ON carbs and TBI a spacer gives the air fuel mixture more time to build velocity and disperse the fuel more thoroughly. On our cars that will not happen.
