For those who like to visit the DYNO.
Try this. Install the 1.8L ECM (computer) to the 2.0L BETA I engine and record the results.
I want to make sure if my local DYNO is correct, because shows a gain of 6 hp @ wheel in a car with only I/H/E.

What are waiting for test it in a DYNO a let everyone know. If your mom let you and if you know how to take it out.
The only place that you can find one for your car is in a junk-yard. I dont know if in USA have junk-yards with HYUNDAI but here in PR you can find anything in any junk-yard.

My thoughts exactly--were they on the SAME dyno? Was the dyno calibrated properly? Was the weather different? All these things can affect dyno results.
Plus, here in the States it's not like there's a dyno at every gas station--it's a bit expensive at $75-100 per run. I'd have to have a damn good reason to go. Give me more incentive to try this mod wink

To properly test this you would have to do the following.
Dyno the car in whatever form it was it.
Reset the stock ECU. (disconnect battery cable, pump brake lights to drain all juice from system)
Reconnect battery and re-dyno with stock ECU.
Then install the 1.8L beta ECU, and dyno test again.
All of this would have to be done on the same day, on the same dyno.
Considering you are looking at $75 a dyno run, this is a $225 test. More if you factor in the cost of the 1.8L ECU.
With how hard it is to get to the damn ECU, doing all of this in one day would be a challenge. Not impossible, but a challenge.
Variation between days could easily account for the 6hp difference. Variations between dyno's could easily account for the 6 hp difference.

No one have Dyno the 1.8 BETA ECU yet. Its so easy to get one of a friend ans test it. I only want to see if I'm correct.
There are so many things that I see that you dont believe.
Tibs with more of 12 months receiving 100-150hp shots and only having problems with the trans.
Tibs with Mitsubishi Montero throttles , Santa Fe or Mustang injectors.
We, puertoricans, like to search and test many things in cars.
I would like if some of the Moderators come here and see all this crazy mods.
I like to post here because I want to help you guys but sometimes you dont believe me or other PR guys like Raven that with a auto-Tib touch the 14 mark with small jet of ZEX. I will give everything if he telling you a lie because I was with him the time that he make 14.9.
If Random could see Omar's Tib, how clean and wonderful job he do in his car.
Or see cars so many cars with strange swaps like an Excel with an Integra engine last gen of a 240sx with Skyline engine or Toyota Starlet with a Sylvia engine.
