Default super project

Well october is almost here so its time for me to start saving for something big. I have decided to build a supercharger kit. I was thinking about using one of the vortech units. From the looks of the units on there website, vortechsuperchargers.com, it look like it might be a good choice to start with. I dont know much about superchargers, but i do know i want the power throughout the rpms. Thats why i am not going with a turbo unit. I plan to start collecting all the pieces over the next few months so it will be installed and ready to run by spring. I am going to start getting the things i know i'll need like the unit, piping.. basic things. If you guys know of anything that a 97 2L tib would need that wouldnt be listed on most sites, please, let me know. I also plan to take as many pics as i can. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks,
Jeff wink

Good luck finding a mount bracket that will be premade for your ride. You will either need to have one made for you, or modify an existing unit. After that, everything but the blower unit itself will be all custom. Vortech doesn't realize that Hyundai exists.

You best shot at success is to start here, C.A.P.A. Australia

I know there will be alot of work involved but the vortech unit doesnt replace the IM right? Can i still use my stock IM with it?

By the way... is that perfect circle?
