Default super-ghetto-fabulous exhaust idea.... opinions?

Thinkin to just get a 2" or a 2.25" cat-back (mandrel beds of course) and just using a long ass glass pack (like 40" body length) from dynomax in the middle for a muffler. Think it would sound ok?

I don't mind gettin laughed at, cause i already do, lol. And it would be a fairly cheap alternative to the canister muffler that screams "PULL ME OVER".

when he says glass pack he does not mean glass. he means fiberglass. its sort of like a resonator.

no it wouldnt sound ok it sounds horrible, i heard a neon with that exact same setup and it sounded like somebody was taking a wet fart in a coffee can full of angry bee's just go 2 pep boys and buy a 3A racing muffler with the single tip, and have custom piping done from the cat back, mine sound great. i went through 2 sets of mufflers before i decided to keep the 3a racing one, i know its cheasy cuz its from pep boys but the HKS one sucked, and the carbon fiber one sucked, and this is what i liked and it was only 80 bux

lol, yeah i figured as much, but its an idea.

I never said it was a good idea, but an idea nontheless.

the 3A racing muffler really sounds good? Who knew... I may just go with it because it looks to be good quality, has the straight through core, and looks decent enough.
