Default Stupid Exhaust Question

Before reading this, know that I'm not a genius when it comes to cars.

-I bought a Pacesetter catback exhaust system. Me and my father put it on real quick(he has an autoshop). There are 3 pieces to it. (muffler, middle piece, and a pipe that's straight) On the pipe that is straight there is a hole already that looks like a nut is supposed to go in. But the stock part didn't have this. Was I supposed to cork this thing? What does this hole do? I corked it already. PLZ let me know! thanks

Sounds like that hole is for the 2nd o2 sensor. The pacesetter SHOULD have that hole...

Neither, you should put your O2 sensor in it. The stock exhaust has the same hole, for the same sensor.
