Hey Everyone

One of my friends bought a stand alone fuel convertor for his tib and then sold it so now he has this extra part. Does anyone know exactly what this will do to my engine and what kind of hp it gives. He didn't give me any specs yet or company name so I am clueless. He said he bought it for $350 and is going to sell it to me for $200. Is this price worth it or can you barely tell the difference?

Thanks

If it's a Haltech E6X, then no, it's crap. But I'll take it though.

Does anyone know what a stand alone fuel convertor does? How does it improve horsepower?

It helps you better round out your fuel curve by lowering it where you don't need as much and raising it where you are getting more on the lean side. You have any idea what brand it is yet?
