silly question but im only going by what you posted are you shifting to early? Can you run out 1st gear? whats the highest RPM you can get it to go? Have you done anything to the car recently? The more information the better we can help.

i changed the fuel filter, oil, and air cleaner. i can run 1st all the way to about 6.5 7k. but then when i shift into second it is like there isn't anything. it stills goes but doesn't have near the kick it use to. sounds like i'm just running a bunch of gas through the engine and gettting no power. idk i wish i senor would come up so i could fix it. if i had to think of one thing it could be it would be the cat is clogged. does that sound accurate?

I think something got mucked up when you did the fuel filter.. Sounds like a lack of fuel, then flooding, then lacking, flooding, etc.

I'd try opening the fuel lines back up and draining them and running compressed air thru them. but that's me...

I'm considering what you mucked with before the prob started..

before i changed the fuel filter it was doing it some but not as bad, then it ran good for a day or two now it is like it again. Now even going from a dead stop a got to use alot more gas to get it going, before i could start in second if i really wanted to and it ran fine...
