what are the gains shown by a bbtb?? is it worth it and what other mods may i need before etting it?

 

the bbtb is definetly worth it it increases hp as well as torque. you have to have a BIM to see any gains and a CAI and XD cam would amplify the gains. I can't rember what the gains were, but i'm pretty sure someone has them laying around.

 

The bbtb shows the most gains out of all the NA mods, with a full breather system 8-9WHP is easily possible out of the bbtb. See elantra zone for more...

BIM = Bored Intake Manifold

 

The BIM/BTB combo showed a 3.5 HP and 3.2 Ft Lbs of torque increase on a 100% stock Beta at the wheels. It should show higher/better gains with a CAI.

I think 8-9 HP at the wheels is rather optimistic for just the BTB/BIM combo on a car with a CAI. I think 4-6 WHP is more realistic from just the BTB/BIM, not counting the gains from the CAI.

 

If I put one on with a CAI and left the IM stock what should I expect?
