Default SR 4-2-1 headers whith MBRP cat-back?

I have Tiburon 1998 with only one Catalyst.

I bought myself Shark Racing 4-2-1 Headers.

I would like to know your experiences with your Cat-back.

do you have a cat-back custom or a bolt one?

I would like the MBRP, but I do not know if that is bolt one with SR 4-2-1 headers?

Brullen did you cat-back for Tiburon 1998 ???

thank
Martin

Hey man, here's what I did....

Bought a high-flow cat... bought a muffler from MBRP, went to a shop that could do exhausts, and had them do a custom exhaust for my car for roughly $200. Make sure you get mandrel bend instead of crush if you do it this way... Mandrel is machine bend, as were crush, sounds like the name, and it obstructs the flow of air. I do NOT own headers yet, so I dont know about that part. Just my 2 cents, maybe that'll help you out.

i have the 4-1 headers and highflow cat and speedstate catback.

You have to do custom connections from headers to cat, then to speedstate. It is not bolt on, even with stock headers and cat, you still need to weld. The one end of the catback is just a pipe, no flange or anything.

That's not true, I have the MBRP cat back and it was a straight bolt on system to the stock exhaust. I looked at it after they installed it. Straight bolt on...NO WELDING.

You would only have to weld if you have a different muffler which I do, but luckily it came with a nice adapter, and didn't have to weld it either.

I have a 2000 Tib
