Splitfire Triple Platinum Plug-Gapping?
Three things that my BETA has never liked on it's plugs:
Split electrodes
Fancy metals
Wrong thermal rating
Ok, so the thermal rating thing almost never happens, except when a retard is working at the local Pep Boys.
I've gone through Bosch +4's, Splitfires, RapidFires and some other damned thing made by AC Delco. I've gone through platinum, copper and whatever that generic potmetal is.
My car, for the last five plug changes, has been using (and will continue to use) plain generic NGK V-power copper plugs. They're $1.49 each, last about 15k-25k miles, and are easy to find. And I've never used anything that works better...
