NGK Iridiums are awesome!
Even better than Plats. And cheaper too!

If you're up for a tune up / plug change, go for these

NGK copper only thing I use with my s/c. Going to try and run a set of Iridium soon. See if I notice any diff in plugs as far as wear or gas mileage. Platnum I think is actually a better conducter of electricity just has a lower melting point than copper. Not 100% positive. But I go with what has worked best for my setup.

Honestly iridium is a waste of time, the only thing that it has over traditional sparks is that the tip of the plug is considerably smaller which can potentialy make a stronger spark but the amount of gains from that is marginal and are no good for hi hp apps of any kind.

irronically the best plugs you can get are the $1.50 cheapies sold at any local parts store. i use accel plugs 2 steps colder.

as for running plugs that are colder. all that means is that they don't get as hot in order to prevent early detonation especialy in higher hp apps. if your about stock or have few mods, you can still use colder plugs how ever they may not get hot enough to burn off any build up on them that may accumulate from daily driving causing a drop in spark strength.

Yep, with spark plugs you don't get more for your money. Them $1.50 coppers do it all, except last a long time. Iridium, platinum, etc. are just there for a longer lasting spark for soccer moms who aren't going to change their plugs every 5-8k miles and would rather pay $50 more for a set of four that will last 20k miles.
