Last I heard the platinums aren't the best thing to use. Personally I use the NGK Copper Core V-Power plugs. I always feel like I notice more power, but it is most likely just my imagination. It also could be power regained because your old plugs may have been fouled.

I run the plus fours.. nice plugs.. but unless you are running some serious boost or compression.. no real difference.

I will have to look it up for you. I think one reason is the spark is not "hot" enough. The main thing is, platinums are advertised as the 100k mile plug. If you wait 100k miles to change your plugs you may have something going on in your engine that could have been prevented a long time ago.

from what i heard on the bosch platinum 4's is that it can burn a hole through the center of stock pistons. this was said from a hyundai mech who told me that if these are used on hyundai cars while under warranty, then hyundai will void the warranty. he said they had replaced many pistons due to these plugs.

like i said, this is what he told me. how true it is, i dont know.

i use the denzo iridium plugs and i think they are crap. i am switching back to ngk's. they are much cheaper and a better quality than denzo, in my opinion.

+4's are EVIL!
Go with the NGK Iridium's for our cars
NGK Part # BKR5EIX-11

Can't go wrong laugh.gif
I have the NGK Platinums in the car now,... only got like about 40000km's on it so I'll be good for a while, and I just recently changed my plug wires,... OEM wires BTW,.. they are made by NGK so it's all good wink1.gif
