Spark plug degree question

So does my car come from the factory to run with 1 step cold plugs? BKR6E-11. Because I wanted to go two steps cold from my stock, that would be a BKR8E-11 and NGK does not make plugs that cold. Am I wrong SCCA 01 Elantra?

Your mitsu motor did indeed come with *6*. The stock Hyundai Beta uses *5*

NGK does make *8*'s, but they may be hard to find.

use www.clubplug.net You have to buy them in batches of 10 or 20, but their prices are dirt cheap.

I'm running the Bosh Platnum fours in my N/A, IF I go the NOS route will they hold up??

NGK specifically gives these as stock plugs for the 95 1.8L Elantra:

one step colder on the NGK copper v's on the 95 elantra 1.8L is the BPR7EY-11. Stock v-power are the BPR6EY-11.

They are indeed *badged* as hyundai motors. The valve cover and several of the castings have the *crooked H* logo on them.
