I just got a 2000 Tiburon. I put an intake in and it messed my **** up. It stalled, died at stop signs, check engine light came on, loss of power!, snail acceleration! I know this is do to the air mass sensors. How do I get around this?

put the mass air back on with the CAI you can't run you engine with out it!!

How did you run your CAI? leave the mass air in place and then put the CAI on after it!

Until you get a real fix just shove the air sensor into the tubing and clamp it tight. that will at least get you running properly.

YellowTiburon!!
Are you running a reactive filter or another brand with a heat sheild on it?
If so the set up that you have is not giving you the full effect.
Your filter is pionting straight down and its harder to suck the air in.You should tilt it up on a 45-90 degree angle and rest it close to your bottom left side splash guard. This effect will alow the air to flow more freely as its sucking in the air as your driving straight. If you had an opened round filter without the heat sheild then your set up would work fine because its sucing in air in all directions.
Two reasons why i say this:
First of all,wth the set-up that i'm talking about i noticed an improvement in PICK-UP(HP)
Secondly,I tried my set-up and your set-up design at the Dyno shop when i was Dynoing my car.The result was by around 1-2HP difference.
You should consiter into tilting the filter like i mentioned?
Hope this helps????????????

well I returned the intake. The shop tested out my intake and then put it back to stock and said "its better that you keep it stock, cuz we dont know why your car is acting the way it was."

you need to leave the MAFS on, thats the cyclinder thind with the wires coming out of it, its close to the throttle body. and rember to put the air temp sensor in also. if you do that there should be no problems, just dont do anything to the MAFS.
