What is happening is when i go to take off in first gear at 3-4 rpm's it seems like something isn't catching idk if it is something in my transmission maybe my flywheel? But, the car stays rev'ed but I accelerate really slow. Then after that happens i get a really bad smell of burning rubber... i guess is best way to explain it. So am i just giving to much gas or what?

You're probly smelling clutch burning. You should not be revving it that high. I take off at a maximum of 2kRPM on a hill. You should look at other causes of why you need to rev the engine that high.

What about racing you start at 2k..? I don't always start that high. For normal driving the car is acting fine. It is when I try to get her up and going this happens cause when i shift i try to get enough gas when i'm releasing the clutch to g et good performance am i just doing something wrong?

Your clutch is about to shit the bed. That's what's slipping.

Are we talking about the clutch? Or are we talking about dumping the clutch at 4k and flooring it, and having so much wheel spin that the car barely moves, and then you smell your tires burning?

If this is the second car that you've had to replace a clutch in, maybe you need to re-learn how to drive stick? I dunno, I learned how to drive stick on the same clutch that I have now, lasted almost 3 years so far with 58k on it when I got it. If you're constantly driving it like a racecar, I wouldn't expect it to last too long.

yea you need a new clutch, if you cant afford one right now, dont race it and baby it till you can get a new one. but it wont last that long, soon it will be slipping from normal driving
