Default Someone asked for pictures of my "Ashtray AFC"?

I took a few pictures (close to dusk, el-cheapo web camera so the quality isn't great -- bite me ) of my cool little S-AFC in the ashtray trick. Doing it this way allows you to hide it when you're forced to park in a bad neighborhood, at the airport, or if you just want to run "stealth" when someone peeks in your window wanting to know what's been done to the car.

As evidenced by the photos, the "stealth" part doesn't work well for my setup

The ashtray open, the AFC exposed
The ashtray closed, the AFC is hiding
A closeup of the alternate lighter plug placement
Further away view of the ligher plug lit up

The lighter plug looks REALLY clean, as does the "Ashtray AFC" bit. I'm selling the whole "Ashtray AFC" setup to a lucky bidder over on FXTreme, and it will be replaced by a similar "Ashtray AVC-R" boost controller module to go with the Haltech

I also have a very short movie of me closing and then opening the ashtray, so you can indeed see that it does work as advertised wink.gif Email me directly for the movie, it's about 550kb in DIVX 4 codec.

Damn, thats smooth.

If only I had a tib, and actually needed a S-AFC right now. Well, honestly its more of a money issue, but oh well.

BTW Red, I emailed Quafie and bugged them about a Tib lsd. wink.gif

Don't bug Quaiffe, they're more than happy to help -- I already have two contacts there who are assisting me. Quaiffe isn't the problem, Kaaz is.

If you want to irritate someone, go bug Kaaz to get off their lazy asses and tell us if their diff for the Tib is the same as any other car on the market. That's what we need to know, and that's what Quaiffe needs to know in order to make us one.

The photos were hosted by FXtreme. I see if Red can scare them up again, or if I can see if Chris-H can find them again.
