if you're speaking about smt-7 then you have to load trigguer type ) i think
also make sure you're electrical connections are good
use hma service to get and comfirm the diagram, remember, the diagrams perfect power has are from around the world, so it may not match your car...

here's the name of the topic:> Smt-7? Anyone
what is the problem? did i type something wrong?
there's cb1+in , cb1-in , cb2+in,cb2-in, ign1+out,ign1-out,ign2+out,ign2-out and i have such wires on the ecu :
crankshaft sensor(signal)
crankshaft sensor(ground)
camshaft sensor(signal)
camshaft(ground).
First i tried such way:
i split wires
crankshaft sensor(signal) cb1+in to ign1+out
crankshaft sensor(ground) cb1-in to ign1-out
camshaft sensor(signal) cb2+in to ign2+out
camshaft(ground) cb2-in to ign2-out
and i used all the sets of trigger types, but didn't have rpm readings.(btw their names and types were really strange)
and didn't manage to have a reading of rpm. then i tried to get back to just
crankshaft sensor(signal) cb1+in to ign1+out
camshaft sensor(signal) cb2+in to ign2+out
and leave the ground wires left off. and it wasn't lucky too.
i did need to drive my car home , so i tried the last.
i tried:
cb1+in teed to crankshaft sensor(signal)
cb2+in teed to camshaft sensor(signal)
and didn't have any luck.
what is the "trigger type ) " ?

trigger type 0, (file name TT1)
first being by just taping in the wires (not cutting them) it makes thing much easier and once you're sure you can go ahead and cut wires
start with tapping only on the positive wire of the crank sensor with cb1 +
then add cb1 - to the negative wire
once you get the rpm dia lin, cut the wires one at a time and see if the rpm is reading right and if the timing changes ccording to what you enter in the smt7
