Ripped the bottom of the radiator off... At least it will be a free repair for me bc my roomate was the one driving so he is payin. Thanks for the help guys

Can you repair that easily or do u have to replace the rad? I went to the junkyard where I live, found a tib in it and took its rad in mint condition for $30.

WELL since its your roomate paying take it to the most expensive place there is to teach him a lesson. LOL

If I break something then its my own fault.

P.S. If it was your radiator, that just gives you a reason to buy a nice shiny Koyo now.

Radiator replacement is very simple. In this case you can skip draining the coolant wink1.gif then remove the upper & lower hoses, unbolt the two brackets, remove the overflow line. Lift out, drop in the new one, put the 2 brackets & 3 hoses and fill with coolant. Be sure to let the car warm up and then top-off a few times before driving off, because there will be air in the system.

Yeah, it's too easy without having to deal with coolant. You can burp the upper hose by squeezing it and alot of the air will just pop out.
