Im thinking about painting my valve cover (NOT the spark plug cover) either gold or blue, but wanted to see how it looked on some of your cars first. If anyone has any good tips to doing it, let me know.

Also there are no "real" tips. TO get the best results take your time, and dont skimp on the prep, and once you think it is clean, clean it once more. Also, just use soap and hot water, works just fine. Also for paint, any paint is fine no need for high heat, I used Gold Vht high heat, and a high gloss clear, but i also made sure to get some Adhesion Promoter to help the paint stick and stay.

You can see there is something missing from my valve cover, if you plan on not running the spark plug cover, and the timing cover i suggest you do something like me to, it keep you from having that random as fin sticking up.

Sorry, old post but i did alot sense this, here is what i have been up to lately!!!!

I will up date this tomorrow. But, yes it has held up for this entire drag season and all the daily driving it gets, not a single scratch or blemish!

Hey yall, i added the more recent picture with my other pics, if you like them make it your wallpaper, and maybe you can take a screen shot of it for me! I know it is off topic from the OP, but all my pics are of the valve cover!!!
