Default Should aftermarket rods have any movement on the crank?

I assembled my bottom end and noticed that the rod ends of my pauter rods can slide ONLY horizontally across the crank journal when fully torqued.

Is this normal? I would assume so, since rods have lateral movement across free floating wristpins for oiling purposes.
