Based on this article.

It causing airation and foaming of oil.

foaming = air pockets = less lubrication.

I had the same problem, dealer told me the same thing. So i went to another shop and had them write me a repair order for a 2nd gear synchronizer. I took it back to the dealer and gave them the repair order, they said they don't open transmissions so they gave me a brand new one.

Gave me a brand new tranny, but wouldn't replace my motor mounts because i lowered the car. That's mess up! But get a repair order and see if there help you then.
