Shifter Play
Before I get flamed like hell, yes I DID search
"Shift(er) Play"
"Shift(er) Slop"
So, anyways... I bought the ARK SS and it's great, but is there a way to tighten the slop in neutral? Will replacing the spring in the shifter do the trick?

Tighten the left/right pivot bolt that points from the front to the back. It will reduce your slop considerably. Tighten it until it just bearly returns to center.

Show us pics of your spring so we can tell you it's hooked up right.
I actually made two small plastic shims to take out all of the play in mine.

I made sure it was on the right way, but here it is. I think maybe the spring is just getting weaker maybe... But I will try that bolt like you said DTN. Can you label which bolt you're talking about though?
Here you go REDZ.
(This is a pic of my old shifter, but the spring is the right way. You had to overlap it.)

Sorry for the crappy pic. I don't have a better one. If you could see, it would be the big assed bolt right by the red arrow. That thing can cause slop foreward and backwards, twisting and side to side. Tighten it up until the shifter just bearly returns to its center position. or you can be like me and tighten it up even more. It feels like I have no slop.
