Default Are sandwich plates safe?

My tuner said that I should avoid them like the plague (didnt really give a reason other than saying they're not good). I want to run an oil pressure and oil temp. gauge setup w/ their associative senders. As I see it now, I have the following options:

1.) Get a galley plug, SS line, 1/8npt T fitting and remotely mount all of the senders off the rear galley plug.

2.) Get a sandwich adapter and plug the senders in.

Which route should I go with? huh.gif help.gif

Yes. We use them on 500 to 1000 whp cars on a regular basis. As long as you install it correctly, there are no downsides to sandwich adapters.

i agree with cobra, but make sure to buy a quality plate. Cheap ones have a tendency to leak.
