Default S-AFC wiring diagram / hints or experience

well as some of you know im going turbo, just waiting on onpol's mechanic to finish the manifold. i bought rafiel's S-AFC, as i plan to use this as part of my fuel system managment (along with the RRFPR, and new fuel pump i bought) im curious tho... will i have to convert my car to MAP somehow for this to actually work? really this is something i should have been thinking about earlier, but it just hit me. so yah, will i have to convert, or will it also work with the MAF signal going to the ECU. also, does anyone have any experience with these in their tiburons? any wiring diagrams, or hints to give me? obviously im going to have to have the car tuned; but this wont happen untill after the turbo is installed.

thanks for the help gals-n-gents

S-afc works with MAP or MAF. You do NOT need to convert. If you do not use a recirculating BOV you will run rich when the BOV vents, but that should only be in "off throttle" applications, so it should not be that big of a deal.

Onpol or Raf should be able to hook you up with the wiring diagram/connections you need.

heres what ive put together based on the hma service diagrams, etc...

White wire (airflow pressure input) gets tapped into wire 41 of the ECU.

Yellow wire (airflow pressure output) sends the modified signal to wire 41 of the ECU

Brown and Black are grounds, grounding to wire 14 of the ECU

Red = Power, taping into wire 59 on the ECU

Grey is throttle signal. this is wire 73 on the ECU

then theres the Green one, its an RPM signal... but i cant figure out which wire to tap into sad.gif

then theres that damn pink one, and that blue one i forgot to mention. dunno what they do cause i cant find it anywhere. if ya know let me know please

You will not need the pink one.The blue one you can use it to check the voltage from the O2 sensor.Just tap it from the cable of the ECU of the upstrem O2 and you will have a A/F ratio monitor. smile.gif The real use of the blue wire is for cars with 2 Flow meters like the skyline.
