results of first mod
hello all, long time reader, first time writer,
i installed the gt cam into my 01 tib man, i had no real experience, but there is only one way to get that, lol. outside of cutting the hell out of my knuckles (those damn cylinders for the spark plugs are sharp) and having to really work at getting the oem cam out, (i assume its cause i only have like 12k miles on it, so everything is still snug) otherwise i had no problems.
i can hear it 'spooling' up a little more than the last cam, and there is a little kick right about 4k on the tach, the engine seems a little more rev happy (or maybe im just a little more rev happy) no problems on the install, easy mod for beginners and quite inexpensive too.

Hence it is a well known DIY mod. The effects will grow the more mods you add on to the car. I've had mine in for 30,000 km so far no problems and I love the 4,000 rpm kick it gives, feels better than v-tec :-)

Besides HMAService, TSR has a few, as does Speedstate, and of course, people's personal pages.
