Hey folks, last nite, i got together with a kid who drives a civic hatchback with a twin cam integra motor.. it had headers/intake, exhaust.. the works.. ecu, cams... all that..

we went out to the country and found a good spot.. the road was still wet from the rainy weather.. anyhow, to make long story short, i couldnt hook, and he could.. he spanked me every time. ..

the one time i was beating him, was from a roll, i put it in low gear.. but when we hit it, i got in front of him easily.. then i forgot to upshift it.. and i hit the limiter on the nitrous and he just went past me...

no damage to the engine was done, as i was right about the wet kit being safer than the dry kit when hitting fuel cut-off smile.gif

anyhow.. he agreed to a re-match in dry weather. and i have a feeling i can beat him..

also, by the time i hooked in every race, he was already 5 cars in front of me... sad.gif

also, i was running the 80HP jets and they work even better than the 70 smile.gif hehehe

Those honda motors are pretty nutty though man. I was looking for some info on that Motec system that Random posted recently and came across a site with powerplant B18Cs. Pushing up to like 900 horsepower, freaking nuts man.

 

more power = less traction. thats why i spun, and he hooked ! hahahaha


also, i was using the 80 HP jets.. so i had even less traction than normal sad.gif


but its ok. alls fare in rice and war.
