If I do the TB coolant bypass mod and I leave it for the winter would it be bad? or will it just idle weird until the car warms up? Cause it gets pretty cold here in the winter.

thanks. wink1.gif

i've dealt with <20 temps without a warmed throttle body for 3 winters, no problems.

you probably warm your car up for 10 minutes in the winter though anyway, i think it's canadian law or something. wink1.gif

I live in southern Ontario and get similar winter conditions to what you get in Montreal. My 2000 Tib didn't even come with the coolant lines into the throttle body so you shouldn't have a problem.

I live in MB, north of Winterpeg. I've started and driven in <-40 with the bypass so I'm sure you will be okay fing02.gif
I'm pretty sure that anything bad happening as a result of doing the bypass is just an urban legend.
