Question for future Buyers of Cold Air Intakes
#22
I would be interested in the plastic one just for the price aspect. Although I would also be worried about it melting if it got to hot. I would want a yellow one. 10 for the plastic and 9 for the metal. I would buy it right this second if I could get one.

Will it be coated in something to reduce engine heat therefore warming up the air as it flows through the piping?
Plastic would be good I think even myself personally cause it will probally be a bit more quieter then a metal one. Maybe more vibration though with the plastic.

YES, the only reason I haven't got one for my autotragic yet is because some people can't get it together (I wouldn't want to say KORE or anything, ya know)
I will pay whatever, make something pretty for my autotragic smile.gif

Yes, the same design fits the auto tranny and the 5 speed.
Yes, you would have to cut a hole in the plastic engine shroud to get the filter into the fenderwell.

9 or 10 either way. Black works for me. What's the weight difference between hte plastic and metal styles, Random? Any chance on getting that upper end hydro bypass just like (I think it's AOS who offers that) from SR?
