Question for future Buyers of Cold Air Intakes
#13
The WeaponR is a short-ram and not a CAI (Cold Air Intake). A short ram sits atop of the engine bay while the CAI will either sit in your fender well or at the bottom of the engine bay.
Random, where does the filter sit?

On the end of the CAI pipe!
Seriously, it sits in the fenderwell behind the foglights.
KayJai-
Silver plastic would look rather cheezy, for silver I think you would have to go metal, but I can ask.

Random, that's a 10 for me on the plastic one only if they are as good as the metal ones. I would like the red one. How long before you get them?
OH yeah, purple and green would be cool colors also. smile.gif

The metal prototype is on it's way to me, and I should have it within 2 weeks. Assuming it fits right, then the metal ones would go into production.
In regards to the colored plastic units...no word yet as to a prototype date, we are just asking people if they are interested to see if we should get them made.
Since the demand appears to be there, will let Sam know.
So...Red, Yellow Blue and Black are fine for colors (with one vote of Silver).
Just for the accuracy of a vote. Please state your color preference.

is this the type that requires drilling under the battery like the custom ones talked about?? if not i'd have to see a pic.
also, does it fit the auto.
if yes to both, i'd say 10 to metal one. i could always paint it blue to match my engine paint
