question for all......
ok i was backing up a steep driveway and i slammed the bottom of my front bumper on the ground twice, and the next day i hear a sort of put-putting from the engine. anyone had this or know what it could be? i'm taking it to get checked out but until then i'd like an idea from those of you who might know what's wrong. thanks.

The only thing I could think of is that a hose popped off or maybe some how a fuse blew. Check for leaks after parking and check all of your fuses. Maybe look around your engine bay for anything that looks like it is supposed to have a hose connected smile.gif
If you find something and don't know if it should, check out HMA Service and see what it is. Hope you didn't crack anything!

If you were backing up a steep driveway, you could have dragged the exhaust, and thus the putt-putt sounds you hear. If you can, put the front end up on jack stands and scope it out. Check for fluid leaks too, but the engine cross member should drag before you hit either oil or tranny. My guess is exhaust.
