Okay, here's my problem. In the mornings when I get off from work(this is where I mainly notice the problem, cause I fly out of there like a bat out of hell), I give it a lot of gas, lets just say I floor it sometimes when leaving work. When I do that, it cuts out horribly, almost like I am coasting along, until it catches, then away I go(ZOOOMMMM!!!!!).

I know it ain't healthy to do this to cars, flooring it like that, but even after I first got the thing 6 1/2 years ago, I can remember it doing it. I figured a while ago that it was maybe the spark plugs, and wires. Changed them, and nothing.

The car still runs as good as when I bought it tho', although, oddly on two occasions, it died unexpectedly, while sitting there in idle, but 2x in 6 1/2 years, i figure that was just brain farts.

Any ideas?, I searched around, didn't find nothing close to my problems, althought I SUCK with the search function.

do you drive an automatic or something? you really don't free up some secret torque hiding under your gas pedal by slamming it to the ground from a dead stop or slow roll, change your driving habits and you'll be fine.

I'm not really technical on this point, but can it be your fuel pump?
I don't know how the system works, but maybe at start there is not enough fuel around in the leads. So the fuel pump really needs to work his ass off and can't handle the amount of fuel you need at the moment...

Again, I don't know how it really works, just an idea.

Most likely not pump but a plugged filter could do this. Even in my auto I had pretty good throttle response

Fuel pump sounds like a good suspect, I thought it might have been that a while ago, but went retarded and forgot it might be that.

Yeah, I know I need to change driving habits, but I know that the car shouldn't cut out like that.

Time to start pricing fuel pumps

How often are fuel filters supposed to be changed, it has been changed once in 6 1/2 years

what the hell is TPS?....if its an abbreviation, i don't know it

TPS = Throttle Position Sensor, it's on the side of the Throttle Body.

Sounds like yours is beginning to go out.

Can you go check the name on it? Bet you it is Dae Sung. I've got a Keifco here if you want it.
$20 and it's yours, shipped.

if your TPS was faulty you would notice hesitation during all driving, not just smashing the pedal to the floor. A fuel filter change AND new spark plugs may cure some of the bog you are experiencing at WOT. I'd check the integrity of your injectors as well.
