And I just love the "elder brother Ram" I don't know about you guys, but that sounds like incest to me! eek!

If the stock crank can hold up to 600hp, then what would the aftermarket lightweight one hold? eek!

I'm looking at their radiator because it already fits; Fluidyne would have to custom make something and then would have to fight with the mounting points. Bleh.

I think the lightweight crank is more for N/A or light-boosted applications, as I'm not sure I would trust a "lightened" crank to hold as much power. wink

Red, like you know the hyundai radiator is only held in place by "studs" wich insert in rubber grommets, very similar to most other import it might be easier to get/cheaper to just find one with the good size and weld on the required "studs"
BTW, do you have dimension for the tib radiator?
core size and thickness, total width with tanks, thickness of tanks? i migh have a lead to something

Lower studs that you would have to cut and weld to fit the new radiator; if you cant find a drop-in piece it's gonna be a lot of trouble fitting. I think thats the issue red's talking about.

The upper bolts you would have to tap the mounting panel for and then comes the issue of the hoses and the sensor and cowling bolt placements...drop-in is best!

Mechanix, lower studs don't have any treds on them so simple luminium rods could be tig welded, same for the upper one, we don't have any sensor in the radiator, hoses placement might be a problem but most imports use the same hoses location,
if a generic import rad is lets say 200$ and a custom tibby rad is 400$+ shipping it might be a wise choice to get the generic one and work a bit on it
again, i don,t have any idea of the prices for generic or specific rads so we'll have to check first

Dennis-

I have the measurements for the Rad at home.

I'll post em up tonight.

I've been shopping around for a new radiator, but one that will fit FORWARD of where the current one mounts, so we have more room for turbo's and piping.

Found these in their site..

Accent Turbo

0 -->350km in 12.68 sec

It says they are exporting these to the US as of 8/26/2002. This guy seems to be inspecting the stuff.

You can find more pics if you click on the green colored button on the left...right below the category lists. They got some neat stuff.
