i'm sure you've all seen them on ebay. that 20+hp chip?

i've got one on the way, but was wondering if it's a good or bad idea to install. i've been having a lot of second thoughts about it, and it should arive today or so......

comments or experiences?

(hope this is in the right spot boys..... i wasn't sure if it belonged in engine or general performance)

yeah, the resistors arent even 50 cents. you can get em for less than a penny if you buy like 20 at once. its amazing ebay doesnt ban those kind of auctions.

Yeah, for the quick info here's what they say it does.

"Tricks your car into thinking the air coming into it is cooler than it is, making it make more HP"

Uhm, I can tell my car it's -50 degree air coming in to the engine, but if it's NOT that cold, it's not that DENSE, and therefore I'm not getting anymore power. All I'd be doing is adding more fuel which can lead to detonation.

Power for us isn't cheap or plentiful, you have to work for it, make sure you post questions about ANY mod you want to do or at least search before you buy man, until you know more bout our cars, we can help ya out.
