Ported my own IM
Not a bad nights work. Took of the IM and ported the runners pretty decent. Haven't had time to test it out yet since I didn't get done till about midnight but certainly felt something on the butt-dyno taking the car home.
Took the car for a drive today. Noticed a cleaner pull from 4k onwards.
There was a good 2mm of material that could be ported out from each runner. Anybody thinking of doing this mod should, It was fairly easy to do. Some time, a good drill, and some good sanding bits is all you need. The hardest part was taking the manifold off.

Keep in mind, removing material from the INSIDE of the radius of a curve does next to nothing. You should only remove material from the OUSIDE of a curve, and blend, blend, blend!

Can you explain the "inside of the radius of the curve".
Basically, I took off what was needed to match the head. Then I took it deeper into the runner to the "apex" of the bottom of the runner. I barely touched the top of the runner where the injectors came in, most of the material was taken off the sides and the bottom. Looking straight into the manifold, the hump where it curved down was basically flattend out. The sides were widend and faded in at about the same spot as the curve. The bottom lost about 2mm and the sides about the same. Everything was then cleaned up and smoothed out.
