Wiseco = God second only to RedZman. hail.gif

Ross makes good stuff too. Search, we've went over this before (bore size[82mm], etc.) tons of times.

It's the background music at the site. Just disable your music player from playing it.

You should be able to get Wiseco's for less than $400 at a local shop. You can buy them directly from Wiseco, but distributors get better prices.

I prefer Ross over Wisecos. From what I've heard, people have had problems with Wisecos...something about the graphite coating or something or another.

Not to mention...I spent about $650 on a set of custom 8.5:1 pistons...money well spent since they'll hold up to 600+HP. cool.gif

A couple of companies you should look at: Ross, Wiseco and Arias. They're the top brands. J&E is a company you want to stay away from (not that great compared to Ross/Wiseco/Arias).

Be sure you tell them if you're using it for a turbo or nitrous. They have to make the pistons stronger to withstand your abuse with nitrous.

I haven't tried the other companies, but when I was talking to Ross, they were pretty friendly, and they already had specs on the pistons I wanted. 'course...it was custom, so it's a bit more expensive (OEM pistons were rated at 9.5-10:1). If you get OEM stuff...I think Ross charges about $450.

But this is from my experience. I'd definitely hit up Ross again.

It's what I have in my car and it's what Viper has in his car. Go with wiseco, you won't be dissapointed.
