Canadianshark, I did a DIY on how to mount it with the stock mount, without cutting or drilling anything, and it'll have the exact same orientation.
Look in the DIY section.

I bet you do.
It's an acceleration sensor. It detects bumpy conditions of the road so the knock sensor doesn't overcompensate.

i can't put it back in the stock location, because the strut brace is there.
if you have got some pics of another way to install it, let see them.
I have seen some people that just leave the sensor dangling there, hah, not even bolted down.
Mad - I do not plan on going Turbo

Thats how mine was for the longest time. Then my car threw a CEL saying that it was that sensor. I talked to the techs and they told me that the it didn't matter how it was mounted as long as it is bolted down. Angle doesn't matter. But about a week ago it went away. So I just stoped worrying about it till the light came back on. As long as it is bolted down it looks fine for me the way he has it.

maybe.. maybe not, Redz.. he is from Greece so we do not know exactly how the car is set up there.
Exactly!!!When i was installing the kspec strutbar i was following the DIY and i couldn't find anything like that...
Besides, with so many bumpers around here, the sensor would go crazy lol.gif

Shadowcat, thanks for the reply but you are wrong. We've had several members go with the "Ahh, I'll just bolt it here" method, and yes, the car runs, but not as well. The engine/ecu are calibrated to run with the measurements that sensor takes from the way it's mounted stock. The folks that had it mounted wrong and RE-Mounted it correctly, have had mucho improved running.
Majiktib is one of them I belive.
Not like it's hard though guys, just look at the DIY I did for it, very simple. No drilling no nothing but unbolting turning and rebolting.
