I just finished purchasing a couple betta 2 parts, IM and TB and plan on boring and port and polishing avec Outlaw spacing kit. That should be quite a nice little setup along with the aem cai. So on that note is there any other beta2 engine parts that can be machined then swapped for increased performance? I know this is doing things the long way around the houses but my engine is olde and adding new parts will have her lasting longer. I currently have the 1.8 ecu/cam so I will be adding them as well. My goal is to srpuce her up abit then add some nitrous. Anything I should consider? 1.8 pistons was mentioned before but im not clear on this idea.

Mod Edit: When he says beta 2 he is meaning RD2. wink1.gif

Put up pics of the TB and IM, it may not work for you. The beta 2's should have a bypass, IN the TB/IM, not to mention the MAP hole. Let's see what you got.

Uhm, yes.

That's a Beta 1 intake manifold.

The thread even says it.

It's stock, off of his 2001 Tiburon. So it's a Beta 1.

LOL

Where did you get Beta 2? Because it says RD2?

so basically this entire thread doesnt mean a damn thing, and people who post without reading that you dont know that a beta II is diff from a beta I; the information anyone provides you with will be wrong..

there ISNT a SINGLE member that would 'know what you meant' not even a poor lil n00b.

so if you have a beta and you bought a beta.. EVERYTHING can be swapped, the whole engine can be swapped..
