Outlaw Thermo Spacers

The thermo spacers for the intake manifold is bored out bigger than the actual openings on the runners, is that supposed to be how it is? i figured it would flow better if it was the same size as the opening..
also.. is the outlaw kit that was purchased in the GB supposed to have studs with them?

Only if you ordered the kit with studs.
