Default Open loop and closed loop

Once the car is warmed up it goes in to closed loop, correct? When our cars goes past 4k WOT it goes open loop, right? Just doing some research on something.

Closed loop is when the ECU uses feedback from various sensors to determine the AFR and timing needed to operate your engine. It will use MAP/MAF pressure, O2 feedback and load to determine your AFR. All closed loop operation targets stoic AFR to operate your motor.

Open loop uses preset fuel values in the fuel tables to determine your AFR. Which is past a certain MAP/MAF pressure determined by the settings in either the ECU or stand alone WOT table.
