Okay guys, so i just got my F1 Stage 3 Racing Clutch INstalled, and we got everything back together and were just going to bleed the clutch. ANd then we did it a few times, and all of a sudden the throw out bearing * i think * wat my dad said, would let the likke bar that goes back and forth on the master cylinder, just let loose and could easily be moven by hand.. which is not right.. anyone else have this problem? I was going to be so happy........ get new rotors, clutch, etc. Finally get to drive, and NOW WE HAVE TO RIP EVERYTHING THAT WE DID APART!!! SUPER SH!TTY!!!!!!!!!!!! 02.gif

Sounds like your throwout bearing pulled out of the pressure plate, You could diconnect the slave cylinder from the arm and try to wack the arm with a hammer to get the bearing to pop back into the pressure plate, if that don't work put a small pipe over the arm to get some leverage and pull on it to see if it will go back in. If it won'yt go back in that must mean that it's not lined up properly and you may have to rip it back apart to see why.

ok WHOA
before you roip everything apart..
you DID make sure to pop the bearing in ONCE the tranny was bolted on to the engine.... RIGHT
You need to apply pressure to the lever towards the engine. Theres a little block that will prevent you from going to far... make sure you dont go TOO Far.. if you do.. your fvcked.
The only way the bearing wont be alligned, is if your tranny shaft is messed up, or something is wrong with your pressure plate (maybe the snap clip)
Try popping in the bearing again (or do it if you have done it)
Its a must once everything is place together..
You will know its done once you cant move the lever with your own hands.
If at one point AFTER the install you couldint move the lever with your hands and now you can... chances are your screwed.
Keep us updated.

NO WAIT!!
You might not have to
Did you pop in the bearing ONCE you installed the tranny?
Popping the bearing in is when the bearing is snapped into the pressure plate..
This is done AFTER your done with the clutch install and tranny install
This can only be done after EVERYTHING is put together
Without that.. the lever will have no weight on it what so ever..
Ill see if i can dig pictures..
