Im looking to install an electronic oil pressure sending unit and was looking for suggestions of ways to do so.

I read in an old thread that someone else did what occurred to me and used the port where the sensor is for the idiot light. This is on the front of the engine and right next to the manifold which seems like a crappy location, so I was wondering where others put their sending units?

I removed mine and installed a wideband in it's place in my gauge pod.

While I had it installed it was mounted close to the fuse box and had a hose running to it from the turbo feed line.
