Default Oil pressure help

Just got done putting turbo on my 01 tiburon 2.0. in a half hour of putting the turbo on it went out. Maybe just a junk turbo but i don't know but know here is my problem when i took that oil line off the turbo there was a piece of metal in it we cleaned out the line to the turbo and the inter cooler piping being there was oil all through the inter cooler piping. It runs good when cold and almost at normal operation temp. Once it gets a little hotter my oil pressure drops to zero at idle i am getting oil pressure reading on the right side of the head where the alan key bolt is. First initial start up it reads just under 40 and after running for a while it drops to zero at idle... PS the fins on the turbo were broken. could i just have something blocking the oil path.. or what could be the problem before i buy a new motor.. PSS The motor is not ticking tapping or anything it actually runs really good.. Thanks for all the help

Where is the oil pressure sender on the engine? That is where I would look for an actual true reading.

If there is no oil pressure at the head, you are sucking regardless of what a sender in the block says. Dry head = trashed engine if you keep running it.

Are you 100% for sure oil pressure was not a problem before this?

my oil line for my turbo is also coming off the same place that the oil pressure is.. Could the oil pressure be dropping because the oil is running into my turbo oil feed line

unhook the turbo and its oil feed and go find out.
