I'm putting in a new clutch so I figured I will fix the leak on my oilpan while I'm at it. I ordered the gasket from Advanced Auto the other day. Anyways I heard there is no gasket on the stock oil pans that they just glue them or something. Is it going to be hard to get the oil pan off? Any suggestion?

On mine they used a rubber compound material so I guess it's true. To get it apart, I used a flat head screwdriver to gently pry at it, and then slid it down the length working it around as best I could. It took a little doing, but it finally came off.

Thanks. Would anyone happen to know the torque specs for the oil pan?
