it prolly has to do with it fitting other makes/models.
for example, the Purolator i listed is the filter for almost EVERY Honda out there. same prolly goes w/ that Fram 9688. they prolly realized that the Honda one can go on the Hyundai's so they stopped makin the hyundai one? who knows. lol
