I'm trying to remove my downstream 02 sensor to place a O2 eliminator as a temp fix on my headers until i get the complete exhuast done... When i tried to get it off i started stripping it and stopped... i wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on how to get it off?

go to your local auto parts store and get an o2 sensor removal tool, if that doesnt work bust out the vice grips and go to town

Use some pbblaster or penetrating oil.

oxy acetylene torch. ok maybe you dont have that. but really some heat and lube goes a long way.
