OK I'm going to revise my statement..... I talked to one guy in the parts department at the dealership and he said that they are different sensors. But I called again and spoke to someone else and he cleared everything up for me. He said that the system the dealership has is very confusing on the subject. He said that if your not careful it seems like there are 2 different sensors. But for the 2001 at least the sensors come up as the same part # therefore meaning they have to be the same thing. So he gave me a price of $81.41, which I think is pretty good for the dealership. I think autozone wants like $150 or so for the same thing. Well after I get my Random Tech. cat and MBRP exhaust installed I'll pick up a new o2 sensor and hardwire it and see if that does the trick. I'll update after I do the work and let everyone know if everything works out ok.

I know that someone used one from a ford taurus. I can't remember who, but it did work. For some reason, I was thinking it was Viper966. Not sure on that one, though.

Well I didn't do the O2 hardwire yet, but I talked to the shop that is going to make my High flow cat and exhaust system fit together real nice and he said he would take care of it for me. He has owned this performance shop for many, many years and said its not a problem to hardwire them up. So Wed. morning I'll drop my car off and that night it will be running soooooooo much better! hehe It runs like crap now and is costing my a ton of money in gas with only 1 O2 sensor hooked up... I can't wait!
